Preparation Instructions
An 8–12 hour fasting is recommended before blood sample collection. You may drink plain water but avoid tea, coffee, milk, or sugary beverages. Continue your regular medications unless advised otherwise by your doctor, and inform the lab staff about all ongoing medicines. For urine tests, provide a clean-catch midstream urine sample using the sterile container provided. Avoid sample collection during menstruation if possible. For USG KUB, drink 3–4 glasses of water 30–45 minutes before the scan and do not empty your bladder. Avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours prior. Carry previous medical reports and arrive early for registration.

Fasting Requirements

Medication Guidelines

Urine Sample Instructions
A mid-stream, clean-catch urine sample is required.

Ultrasound (USG KUB) Preparation
